Most things (work items, repositories, pipelines etc.) in Azure DevOps are organized into containers called Projects. It is tempting to try to break your work into lots of small projects (e.g. one for each library, or one per team, or one per department).
The release deployments control currently works with classic release pipelines and with Azure DevOps Server 2020 and Azure DevOps Services (cloud). If your project is customized using a Hosted XML process, you need to update your work item type definitions to display the control.
However, that method requires software development skills. In this post we will consider capability of Azure Logic App to perform actions with Azure DevOps work items.
